This editorial, one of the cover stories of our latest WORK issue, bloomed as a series of fortunate events. It was shot by Jonathan Baron, whose journey to photography saw him go from Graphic Design to fashion, and from there to Art Direction which eventually led him to do what he does now – “I make pictures” as he himself puts it. Berlin’s “conference capital”, the Estrel Hotel, served as the stage where situations developed, a perfectly dreamy and sterile white canvas where photographer, models and stylist could play around and go along with whatever happened. In the words of the photographer the editorial is “a dream in pictures. The perfect incident was finding a live band which worked perfectly with the story”.
