10 VIDEOS THAT WON’T MAKE YOU SLEEP AGAIN

Still sad that Halloween season is over?! Don’t worry, we’ve got your back, because we love to be frightened as much as you do! We’re breaking down our list of 10 music videos that will be giving you nightmares until New Year’s Eve. So grab your little sister’s stuffed animal and get ready to be cowering in a corner and prepare to be terrified!

Number one on our list goes out to The Shoes “Time to Dance” or shall we say “Time to slice some teenage bodies”? And yeah, we’re already cringing! The music video is technically based on a revenge story. Jake Gyllenhaal starring as a lead charakter is giving Uma Thurman aka Beatrix Kiddo aka The Bride in Kill Bill a run for her money, because he is literally cracking those hip-looking teenager’s skulls. And what makes this video so scary is that it’s never clear why all this is actually happening. Take a look!

Our next music video is another classic and it’s by Aesop Rock with a song called “Coffee ft. John Darnielle”. While the music video follows pretty much the formula of a slasher movie and we’re talking a bout a bunch of teenagers, children, lots of blood, and an evil force that is just beyond.

Ok guys, are you ready for our next music video? Because it’s really getting weird now. Just watch Bat for Lashes’ “What’s a Girl To Do” and you all will know what we mean!

This music video is really anything but typical. And the thing that makes this video so disturbing is that “Closer” by Nine Inch Nails is basically a collection of random weird stuff and seing it cominig all togehter makes it a coplete disgusting nightmare. The music video also features some great twists and at the end of the video the audience is left horrified.

We chose the music video by “For Those Who Still Exist” for our next pick featuring our heartthrob Kevin Kopacka starring as a wolf. The story is all about a surreal dream and a take on love between the wolf and a girl who kinda seem to have a messed up relationship. Their flick apparently was doomed to fail from the start, but watch for yourselves.

It’s a set up we’ve basically seen countless times but the music video excelles through ASAP Rocky’s stage presence. Take a look!

Way before Miley introduced us to her Wrecking Ball, there was Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer”. Those very sultry lyrics make us feel weirded out and nosy at the same time, but Peter Gabriel’s crazy video and his sledgehammer are definitely going to haunt us in our deepest rem phase.

Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” is just sort of a surreal dreamscape, a weird catchy song with an even weirder video to it. This is what Cornell, the frontman to the band said about the song “It’s really difficult for a person to create their own life and their own freedom. It’s going to become more and more difficult, and it’s going to create more and more disillusioned people who become dishonest and angry and are willing to fuck the next guy to get what they want.” You go Cornell, say it like you mean it!

When we’re talking about horrifying music videos, we must include this one guy into our list who’s basically the godfather of all scary music videos: Marilyn Manson. His unique imagery is captivating and certainly not for the faint-hearted among us. Roll it!

Finally and rounding up our countdown is youtube sensation Trisha Paytas. Oh Trisha! You showed us how to eat a banana and how to look skinny when taking selfies and now you’re punishing us with covering one of Cher’s most annoying songs! At this point we’re also desperate about turning back time and unsee this uber corny music video. Will we ever be able to sleep through the night again?!
