Walk through the street of London’s Notting Hill Carnival with photographer Stefy Pocket and discover the style, street statements, music and people of the growing West Indian community in London. Held every year since 1966 over two days in August, one of the UK’s biggest street parties celebrates Reggae beats, Soga pop and Hip hop music. To add to that, the Carnival has got the widest range of age groups, people, subcultures within subcultures coming up and going on a two day long journey accompanied with street art, kick-ass dance moves and pretty much everything you’d expect (or not) from a carnival of the sorts. Stefy takes us in and brings out the true colours of the people that make it happen.
